Emergency tree service
Nor'easters, summer thunderstorms and the occasional hurricane all bring trees down in the Bayshore. If a tree or a big limb has landed on your house, your car or your driveway, call and we'll connect you with a local tree company that can get it off safely.
Tree on the house right now? Say so when you call.
Call (732) 399-3808Stay safe around downed wires
- Treat every downed wire as live, even if the power is out.
- Stay far back from wires, and from anything they touch, including the tree, a fence or a puddle.
- Call your power company right away to report it. If anyone is in danger, call 911.
- Don't try to move a tree or limb that's touching a wire. Tree companies wait for the utility to make it safe first.
If a tree is down right now
- Get everyone out of any room the tree came through, and keep people and pets away from it.
- If wires are involved, call your power company first and stay clear.
- Take photos of the tree and the damage, inside and out, for your insurance company.
- Don't climb onto the roof or start cutting yourself. A tree under tension can snap or roll without warning.
- Call us and say it's an emergency.
- Keep receipts for emergency work like tree removal and tarping.
After the storm passes
Walk the yard and look up. Cracked limbs that are still hanging, often called hangers, can drop days later, and a tree that's started to lean or lift at the roots may not stay standing. If something doesn't look right, have a tree company take a look before the next storm.
